I love this quote! I've done a lot of Suzuki training with an awesome couple who teach at University of South Carolina, who trained under him in Japan. Bogart is absolutely right, that you can only really work on creating your given circumstances and environment as an actor and just see what happens in that realm of truth. The training really reinforces this: you get all of your body engaged and really responsive to your internal and external stimuli and then all you have to do is deal with what comes.
